Today Zidane spoke publically and apologized for his actions on Sunday. While he did not state exactly what was said to him, we know that yes it had to do with his mother and sister. Knowing that his mother was hospitalized prior to the finals, and still not knowing if there were some racial adjectives included in the mother/sister comment one can better understand why Zidane reacted.
Again, I do not think what he did was appropriate, but it can be understood. I think that two pieces I read in CNNSI really gave the issue a proper light:

Neither say that Zidane was right in doing what he did, but rather we need to becareful before we judge.
As stated in the Dr Z article, Zidane will have to live with his actions for the rest of his life a much greater burden than any fan or spectator will ever have to live with....but somewhere inside his soul Materazzi will have to live with his actions as well. Materazzi claims ignorance with regards to "international terrorists" and to take one's mother as sacred...ignorance and hyporcacy aside, he will have to live with his place in history.

Good question, actually there are few if any places in Boston where you can get the official numbering and names on jerseys. NikeTown
carries some of the Nike team jerseys (Arsenal, ManU, Brazil, USA...but no numbering). There is s mall store in the North End that has some jerseys, about half way down Hanover street. But otherwise not much.
My collection has been made in part from my travels back to the old country to visit my family (reason why I have so many PSG and French national team jerseys), my general travels (always try to pick up a team jersey from the cities we visit) and primarily because of the web.

MMSports is in Denmark, they have even provided me with the official numbering for jerseys I already owned but had no numbering. I had to then bring them to any local sports store that has a screening machine. They have a great collection.
Subside is in the UK, they have everything. I have even seen jerseys from the smaller Asian leagues etc. They do not always have official numbering, but for most kits they will have player related jerseys with all the official stuff.
Toffs is great if you want retro jerseys, everything from the Cosmos to the Soviet Union to a 1960s Derby County jersey. I was able to get an Puskas Hungarian national jersey from them. The one thing is, if you order it might take some time, so just email them directly to see availability.
